So I'm pretty sure my new cat is scared shitless and thats why he's doing things like pissing on the rug.....I have 3 other cats, namely a big orange one that demands to be the alpha cat....this new cat can't move around the house at all without another cat basically being in his ass, chasing him around etc etc.

I really don't know how to make that stop.

How long have you had him? Sometimes it might take a while. My cats have been together about 7 years and my husband'as alpha cat still runs mine off lol.

About 2 months, it's not so much that he's the alpha it's that he's domineering, he runs him off the food bowl, chases him under the bed and just sits there waiting. He'll corner him and just sit there for 20 minutes not letting the other cat move.

My new cat literally either sits by one of us or will stay in my room all day, it's like he's scared to walk around and he's getting worse about it. He moved more freely around when we first got him than he does now.

Maybe just feed them separately? Maybe lock them in different rooms? Use a spray bottle on the bully cat lol

You know...

Now would be a good time to ring the Survivor alarm while they’re all asleep.

It could be any time. I'm a wild card.

Spraying him with water does nothing, he will look at you like yea is that all?
That's our alpha cat, lol. I guess just give it time and maybe talk to your vet. Our cats are a lot better now but it took a bit. Like i said I still see my husband's cat run mine outta rooms and stuff. Depending on her mood.

locking them in separate rooms tells them they are not part of the family and they hate that.

I do have one cat I feed in the bathroom so the others won't take his food though malice is not involved. They just like to play Goldilocks with their food plates. But he was ill at one time when I took him in and had to stay in that BR to recover so he considers that his safe place and waits for me patiently to let him back out.
