The last time I had an issue (not over this trivial gender qual) but about whether I could work or not, I got a boiler plate email from a different "person" every two days. They are not real people, but they want us to think they are. The only way I got it resolved, was by replying and saying, do not send me another auto response. I had to do that every time they sent me one. It took two weeks. It's really not fair when some people are dependent on the income. I also simultaneously got someone at Amazon (a supervisor who had somewhat heard, once upon a time, about something about Mturk) who said she would send a request to the Mturk support department, because they don't have emails and they don't have phones.
