I just paint over the dirt. Oh, it looks dirty? Get out the brush. (Not really, There are these new lysol(or that other brand) of bleachwipes that have a tougher scrubby side that do WONDERS, best thing since ever)

Question: Do anybody know the best way to clean dark wood floors? I just got them and they show everything and was told not to use water and soap. Just curious.

There are several specialty products made for this. A lot of people swear by Bona. Rejuvenate makes some good flooring products and is usually what I recommended when I worked as a THD flooring specialist. And yeah, stay away from soap and water. Water will fuck up your floor.

The Target brand of those are lovely! The scrubby threads don't break up like some other ones.
