Anyone have a nice, simple coffee maker they want to recommend to me? Looking for something with a charcoal filter/carafe. Like everything on Amazon is 3.5-4 stars so idk.

The only recommendation I have is to avoid Mr. Coffee makers. I used to swear by them, but the last four I had died within 6 months, even the fancy timer one with all the bells and whistles. Three of those were within 3 months. So yeah, avoid that brand.

ETA: Not trying to not be helpful, just not sure what works anymore. At this point, I just use a dripper thingy and a teapot.
