I hope it's ok to be off topic for a sec, does anyone have the droid turbo 2 phone? I'm thinking about getting a new phone and that one seems to have caught my eye the most.

They're quite nice phones, if you don't mind being tied to Verizon. The Moto Turbocharger thing is a delight. Unremoveable battery and such, so be careful with it. I don't know if they're upgradable to Marshmallow yet, but overall a good choice.

nice. My main thing is battery life. This one seems to have that in spades (is that the correct use of that phrase?) with an almost 15 day standby time. Secondary is storage capacity. My current phone has 16 GB and that's definitely not enough. It was 4 years ago when I got it, but not anymore lol.

The battery life is fantastic, and that Turbocharger really does charge the thing in the blink of an eye. The Turbo 2 supports up to 128GB SD cards, as well, I believe. At the very least it does 64, so with the on-board storage you're looking at at least a 10x storage upgrade with no hassle.

don't you charge your phone? I got a samsung Galaxy 7 and just charge it over-night using a wireless charging pad.

its a fair concern, lithium ion batteries deteriorate over time, so with one that you can't remove and replace, you'd want to cover your bases

I charge it each night. I even have a larger battery for my galaxy s4 that extends the life significantly longer. The stock battery was just awful and would deplete by about 4pm each day even if I didn't use it at all. I've now been spoiled by this larger battery, and it's all I really want in a phone now.

yea I guess that's true if you plan on keeping a phone for some time. I don't keep them long at all maybe a year to 2 years at most

The best phone I've had in terms of battery life was the LG G2. Nothing else I had up to that point matched it. I somehow managed to run over it though. Replaced it with a Note 3 and got one of those huge extended batteries and it took a solid week of 24/7 Netflix streaming to kill that fucker.

I had a LG G3 for like two weeks. It was horrible. Couldn't have sent it back any faster. Now I have an S7 edge

Nah, man. The best phone I ever had for battery life was the Nokia 3595. Also, that shit fell off a second floor balcony and still fucking worked when I ran down to pick it up. I miss phones that didn't break when you breathed on them too hard.
