thank you :) masters I meant...d'oh...today was really hard. I've been keeping a log of like how many hits MTurk has and the numbers have gone down since last week at least. I am hoping this is just a kind of temporary lull. How about you? How was your day?
Not that great, but I had to leave early for an eye exam because I wanted to have my prescription updated before I bought extremely sexy sunglasses. Now to turk for the rest of the week to pay for them...

Hello, we canceled this experiment due to technical reason. That is why you could not connect. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you want us to send you other HITS when we create it, let us know.
:eek: That's sucky

Old site. Dashboard add-on wasn't showing up at first, it is now. It was just working, at least a little, but then stopped. And the times for the individual HITS don't work, either.

I followed directions, changed the things I was supposed to, changed the working order of the script (because I use the dashboard script), uninstalled the dashboard script and reinstalled after yours. Turned everything else off besides what was essential... I can't figure it out.
I dunno. I'd disable the dashboard script, uninstall my script then reinstall it, try a HIT (in the same browser), and then check the last page of HITs for the day to see if it saved the time, and check for errors in the console on the dashboard and that last page of HITs.

Okay, I'll try that. Thanks for trying to help me, very much appreciate it.

It's pretty hard to do anything remotely, so let's just hope it works somehow, or gives an error I can fix.
Dashboard seems to be working smoothly now, but the individual HIT times still don't show up. Went into the script and there are yellow exclamation marks, but I can't remember if it's those or something like a red X that indicate errors.

HIT times for previous HITS disappeared for me when I uninstalled/reinstalled the script. That might be your problem. Have you tried doing a HIT after installing the script to see if that one shows the time?

Yeah, I tried that after he told me to uninstall/reinstall. Nothing. :-/
Does the hourly for that new HIT show up in the summary on the dashboard, or does a line like

show up in the console for the last HIT page with that HIT you tried on it?

And probably try a HIT from a different requester than any you've done today.

Kerek @Kerek I just thought of something, but I have no idea if it would make a difference. I'm not turking from the traditional version of Chrome. I'm turking from Chrome Portable. Do you think that might have something to do with it?

I don't know, but probably not for that error.

try changing the line

Code:
var hitId = $(this).find('a[href^="/mturk/contact?"]').attr('href').match(/[A-Z0-9]{30}/);
to

Code:
var hitId = $(this).find('a').attr('href').split('hitId=')[1].split('&')[0];

Change it to the top line?
