Here is my latest exchange with Rose. The reason for my 1 rejection was that the hit was blank. I won't be performing them again because this was not something that I did, my other work was excellent per earlier emails. I don't want to risk technical errors costing me. But for others, here is some information from her end.

May be the page expired when you clicked submit? I'm not sure, but we do not have your response. That's the reason for the reject.

Your suggestion about the review length is excellent. I have updated the Level 3 version so it shows only reviews of manageable length.

By copy-paste, I meant that some turkers copied the review verbatim to the answer field - didn't make any effort at editing. Feel free to use any editor of your choice - I have not way of knowing how the turkers are editing the review.

Yeah, the qualifier HITs got scammed big time. Some people did 60+ HITs when we asked to do 5, and most of those were verbatim copy pastes.

Had a good Saturday afternoon My friend who is kind of like a 2nd mom is going to give me copies of all her medical billing course materials so I can study for the cert. test... she just had a situation where she got a new billing job since her old office was closing, but then her old office decided not to close, and the new place wanted to keep her so much that they offered her part time work, salary, and fully WFH. I don't know if it will pan out for me, but knowing someone in the biz can't hurt and it'd be nice to make a little more money and still be home!

ofc their evidence comes from surveys they pay 3/hour. Using well paid, well reviewed surveys on TO and TV wouldn't help their case at all because the vast majority of those responses would be of extremely high quality.

If I understand your first sentence, what they will do when they receive submissions with the writing portion filled in as "I AM NOT A BOT" is reject them, which is exactly what they should do for substandard work, regardless of it's pay. Don't accept a bad paying HIT. If you do occasionally, get over it. Sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you. That's the price we pay to have the freedom to do what we want and still get paid. Anyone who gets ticked off about excessive attention checks, should maybe go find a different HIT to do, or stick to A9's. If the study pays fair for my time, it could literally all be attention checks and I couldn't care less. Nothing forces me to take a HIT. I am in complete control of what I decide to do, just like everyone else here.

And just to repost, this is not a new problem and there are solutions that work well to take care of most of it.

I almost feel like we should move this topic to a different thread because it's a non-issue that is gaining credence just by us giving it so much attention.

The guy that said $.75 for 10 minutes is fair pay, right? rofl....

Good workers are going to pass on those surveys most of the time...so they'll get picked up by the Indians who say "GOOD, NICE, SURVEY GOOD." It's common sense really. I'm fairly certain that better paying surveys get better results. I never answer randomly in a survey, but when a survey starts taking longer than it should, I'm less interested and probably don't provide quality answers to writing prompts, whereas I do with say the Survey Comet hits.

For some reason my Forecasting HIT only took 40 minutes this week. I must be getting awesome at it. Only took 16 weeks.
So, I did 3 extra questions for extra points.
And, you're right. you do get what you pay for. It's poorly written and secured studies, done by poor workers who go through accounts like I go through socks. It will work itself out.

I clearly remember that. But when you also add in the fact that I performed dozens upon dozens of hits and one was blank, and she still won't reverse the rejection??? It just tells me that I would only be kicking myself should another error occur. Usually contacting a requester and having them notice such a thing, would have a positive outcome. The elusiveness of what the proper number would have been escapes me.

Yep, same pay. If I recall correctly some people only had to do 2-3 each week as well. I was a little butthurt and jealous xD but still good pay so I can't really complain I suppose.
