The guy that said $.75 for 10 minutes is fair pay, right? rofl....

Good workers are going to pass on those surveys most of the time...so they'll get picked up by the Indians who say "GOOD, NICE, SURVEY GOOD." It's common sense really. I'm fairly certain that better paying surveys get better results. I never answer randomly in a survey, but when a survey starts taking longer than it should, I'm less interested and probably don't provide quality answers to writing prompts, whereas I do with say the Survey Comet hits.
right...I had a string of 5-6 surveys for 40c to 50c the other day that all started with "write about a time" and expect to get a serious response....insane..

i just write "not for coins" in the blank and advance to the next page, then return the HIT so they can see my comment...

I don't know how many they require you to do, I know it is different for everyone...but I have to do 5 to complete the hit every week. That's enough researching and writing for me, I dunno if I could do 3 extra haha.
I was going to say after I did those five every week for 16 weeks there weren't many more questions to pick.

"Hello my baby. Hello my honey. Hello my ragtime gal.
Send me a kiss by wire. Baby my heart's on fire.
If you refuse me, honey you'll lose me, then you'll be left alone.
Oh baby telephone and tell me I'm your own.."

5?! Ugh. You did 16 more than me, for the same pay? That's annoying for you. But, the extra ones I did end in a week and there's no chance of them happening.
I have to do 5 as well. And it took me until week 16 to realize they'd accept me updating an old forecast instead of constantly having to hunt down a new one, getting into topics I'm more and more uncertain of.

While you're bored, this cat is playing 3D Jenga!

Cats cheat.
Do I have any chance to get these Survey comet quals?
If you mean for the 16 week HIT, no. This is week 16. It's just an inclusion qual that allows you to continue your work.
But, survey comet posts lots of HITs that don't need quals. This forecasting HIT is just one of many different HITs that they post.

5 +1 data link. I think I've done all of them except the ACLED statistic ones. I wish they would add some questions directly related to the U.S. I'm so caught up on US politics and government doings that my younger self would be all like o_O
