update:
MIL and Fiance say jeans (dark blue, not holey) are what i have so they have to be fine, so I guess that's what I'm wearing.

Same here! I love that episode. I also love the dragon pit scene. Can't wait for the final season!

i'm such a nerd keep remembering how i felt watching the episodes the first time. this is one of the best shows I have ever watched. the last season will definitely be bittersweet

I have never baked bread machine dough not in the machine... I've made dough in the stand mixer or by hand and baked it in the oven. So this one is bread machine + oven.

When I cut into it I'm going to say "it's under-proved" in my best Paul Hollywood accent (even if it's fine)

keeping a sourdough starter has always seems like so much work to me... I think a need a solid bread basics foundation before I do that!

OH but what some folks do is proof in the machine, then form it and proof again (if needed) outside of the machine and bake in a pullman/dutch oven/whatever.

I hate the shape of bread machines, I hate the texture, I hate the machineness of them. When we have a house with a yard someday, one of the first things we're building is a bread/pizza oven. We might actually build one in my friends backyard who loves my bread. He keeps telling us to, but I feel weird about it.

My veto doesn't count for much since someone else has to drive me to the store (whether thrift or walmart)

I'm gonna try and bring it up again later when we aren't babysitting though.

I am 100% a bread snob. I also basically only do Turk and don't have kids so I've got the time (but not a ton of patience!) and the overnight proof bread is so little effort, honest to goodness.

But when you take a loaf out of a cast iron dutch oven... you can hear it crackling. It's music.
