Thanks. I'm wearing Nikes. They aren't cutting it> I end up looking like a stork after an or so.OK, so my take on Crocs. I would wear them with thick fuzzy socks (to make them even MORE attractive) around the house. With hardwood floors they got a little slippery sometimes. Personally, I much prefer a well fitting pair of tennis shoes. Crocs are great, tough, for working in the garden, slipping on and off easily, kids wear the crap out of them in the summer.
Thanks. I like the opposing view I just feel like there's nothing between my feet and the hardwood floor. I like LL Bean, living in Maine I can usually find stuff cheap but, I don't know of slippers would be great for 8-12 hours of standing. If you haven't tried LLbean's clogs, I love them for lot's of walking. I think they are the same, or nearly the same, as Danskos with an added lifetime guarantee.I don't find them very comfortable. I wore them for awhile when I was working in the prison. (It was, strangely enough, one of the 'acceptable' shoes). I found them slightly uncomfortable - and certainly never my first choice. But, they are waterproof and I appreciated that.
For around the house, I used to have a pair of LLBean Wicked Good slippers (also expensive). But they were comfortable. My favorite shoes remain clogs, though, when I'm out and about (real wood clogs).
