I was an Assistant Manager there for 4 years and I had to fire many people. A couple for what you are talking about. And none of them thought it was an honor. Most cried because they didn't know how they would feed their kids.

The way I caught someone was they decided to come in later that night and exchange it with a receipt that had the employee's ID number on it. I didn't fire him for it, just killed his employee discount and kept an eye on him until I caught him trying to brick in a box a Xbox360.

Are you gonna make that mistake? Probably not. Just saying it happens.

But I'm out of retail and thankful for it

Mine is up at 17. Thanks to pinterest and some google requesters. It used to be much higher when mtns posted regularly. I think I was up about 25 at that point.
