If my current desktop alerts when someone posts a HIT in the forum open up on FF, how to I switch it to Chrome? If I have the thread open in Chrome I'm not getting alerts.

OK, I have a dumb question.

If my current desktop alerts when someone posts a HIT in the forum open up on FF, how to I switch it to Chrome? If I have the thread open in Chrome I'm not getting alerts.

Check your settings at the top of the thread. I just tested it and logged into ff (I usually use Chrome) and those boxes were unchecked. They're checked on Chrome.

edit: it's possible I have no clue what I'm talking about.

You mean the new hit notifier and new hit sound? They were unchecked on Chrome, but are checked on FF. Now I have them checked on both. I only have the thread open in Chrome but no alerts...

check your settings in the forum at the top of the thread called thread tools, you will have two options, check both.

• New HIT Notify
• New HIT Sound
