simple is a pretty good bank if you're looking for a new one.

my kids savings account has been hit with 10 dollar inactivity fees (they use a bank thru their school)
so they're being penalized for not depositing money? yea fuck that. they were screwed out of 50 bucks by the time i noticed. ugh so lame.

Had that happen to me a few months ago.. 200 dollar charge at a coffee shop in Miami. Took 3 weeks after "investigation" to get it credited back to my account. I have US Bank.

I had a similar thing happen to me around the time my second kid was born. I was around 100 miles from home, with my gf and kid in the hospital because of complications she had during the birth, and I find out my bank account was emptied out by someone over in Europe who used my CC to buy computer equipment. At least it only took about a week to get things straightened out (fairly easy to prove I wasn't in Europe and the US at the same time ).
