I hope you did not spend a lot on it. I have never agreed with the idea of spending a ton of money something you will only use once.

It was about $100. Went to Vegas and got married. The whole wedding/honeymoon plus rings cost around $3500. Had a blast and didn't have to deal with awful family members trying to make the day about them!

It's pretty easy. You just shop for summer stuff in the winter and winter stuff in the summer. Nothing but clearance!

This worked for us until my daughter hit her teen years. We still do it, a little. But she's so focused on the here and now - and 'wants what she wants' (which is basically what everyone else is wearing) - that it's a lot harder.
