Yeah I always feel bad for the villain in things, though. Even if she was being a jerk, I feel bad b/c she did a stupid thing that she's going to regret in one way or another, and haven't we all done that? I mean I still want her to be punished, but I have a kind of empathy idk

I'm not defending the turkers who did that to her at all, but I think a lot of requesters underestimate just how smart/resourceful turkers are. I would have loved to see her face when she started getting slandering emails/getting asked by her coworkers why they were being spammed with emails/probably death threats within minutes. I'm sure she's gonna start her weekend off with a ton of booze after this.

I personally have no ill will towards her, and I fully appreciate the severity of the situation and how upset she has to be right now because some people jumped the gun and started being dicks to her.

I ran this last week at a much cheaper price and got absolutely crap data, which is why I sought out the Masters. I'm a first time user of MTurk and honestly feel horrible about all of this. Please continue to quell everyone. Some people are emailing my coworkers, slandering me, and I'm doing my best to make this right. I appreciate your understanding and help.

I would have loved to see her face when she started getting slandering emails/getting asked by her coworkers why they were being spammed with emails/probably death threats within minutes. Last summer we were browsing for a small camper to buy, but the vehicle we had could only tow a very small popup at most. But about 2 months ago i just bought a truck with a tow kit already on it, so we might revisit the camper situation.

Most requesters have no idea that turkers are capable of communicating and cooperating with one another.

Unfortunately, it is a very fine line between aggressive defense of one's work and a complete mob mentality. This requester was obviously completely blind-sided by the negative reaction to her mass rejection. Amazon should really put a disclaimer on the requester dashboard that says "you damn well better make sure you know what you are doing if you reject all work from this batch - because these crazy fuckers will come after you. They will come for your co-workers, superiors, relatives, BFFs, house pets, and unborn children if you screw them over."

Now, for everyone to ponder - since she was so quick to pull the trigger on a mass rejection would she have been inclined to reverse those rejections if only a few workers emailed her? Since she had no guilt about hitting that reject button in the first place I am inclined to say that she only cared when her co-workers and superiors got involved. I am sure she is genuinely terrified but maybe this is the exact kind of educational experience that she needed, too.
