7500 steps sounds like someone is trying to tone up that bootyTomorrow, I'm on plan. 1200 calories and 7500 steps. I'd say I was going to start my strength training but that seems like a bit much for one day.

I didn't realize there was a thread for diet/fitness.Tomorrow, I'm on plan. 1200 calories and 7500 steps. I'd say I was going to start my strength training but that seems like a bit much for one day.
I love seeing what other people eat and how they exercise. Fascinating to me.I didn't realize there was a thread for diet/fitness.
For some reason, I find it interesting to learn about other people's diets.
The main staples of my diet are coffee, water, and diet soda. I'm kidding...a little.I love seeing what other people eat and how they exercise. Fascinating to me.
Hee. I'm with you on the coffee, soda, and water thing. Kinda keeps you full. A salad a day is far more veggies than most people get so I'd say you're doing pretty well. The main staples of my diet are coffee, water, and diet soda. I'm kidding...a little.
I do eat a salad nearly every day for one of my meals, though. That counts for something, right?
Goal for me is to run all 5 weekdays this week.I'm on track for calorie goal today but I need to get off my ass and go take a small hike to get my step goal.
:thumbup:cauliflower crust was mentioned so i'm going to nerd out about it.

this is what i've learned because i made it so often:
trader joes sells the cauli already riced. (i havent tried it, unfortunately)
squeeze ALL of the water out after you cook it (microwave or steam, but don't boil it)
you want it really dry or the crust doesn't crisp.
i thiiiink drying it in the oven after would work nicely as well, but i haven't tried it.
make 2 or 3 smaller ones instead of one really big one.
make sure you spice your "dough" or it's kinda plain.
bake them first before you put the toppings on. flip it, and bake it some more.
That's some iron willpower. I keep that stuff out of the house.I had soup and salad for lunch, a piece of Buffalo chicken and fruit for dinner, and a butterfinger cookie. Still only hit around 900 calories, and I think half of it was in the cookie
I spent 3 hours shopping (nobody had peanut butter chips today, wtf), and 4 hours baking for CJ and the boy.
3 kinds of cookies and blondies... my will power is wavering lol
I used to almost live on sugar, like obsessively. So when I say I get a cookie a day, I'm really not joking. @C to the J controls the candy addiction, so I literally get one, maybe two sweets per day. It works tho, so it's more like I don't have to worry about it than willpower. That's some iron willpower. I keep that stuff out of the house.
The booze can definitely be a problem. I cut way back on my wine consumption once I started tracking calories in MFP. It's the hardest part about all this for me.I used to use myfitnesspal religiously. I lost 15 lbs by just using that website. But now I can't bring myself to do it! I'll logon for 2 or 3 days then just give up. I need a different approach. Exercising isn't a problem for me because I love it. Eating healthy has always been the issue (that and boozing it up 1-2 times per week).
