You know what is great.....when I get handed my mother in laws computer to fix it.....when what is wrong with it is she's old...this thing hasn't had a windows update since the last time I had it..

How hard is it to update your computer and run windows defender here and there?

You'd be surprised, I've talked to people who couldn't even locate their start button before.

Somehow my dad does the same thing. He calls me and complains that he can't use his laptop because windows is force installing 33 updates on it and he has a 15 mb/s connection.

How do you actually avoid automatic updates for that long?
