It depends on your accuracy percentage. If you have high accuracy, you can jump up levels really quickly, but you can also drop levels really quickly. I was up to level 4 after doing 40 hits, but I did one wrong and dropped back to level 1. It also depends how many "test" hits you get. How they determine that, I have no idea.
i guess the only problem would be that i don't want to put something up like that since it would impede our view. 50% of the reason we bought the house is because we have a gorgeous mountain view from our two huge picture windows (which also let in a ton of light and heat). so while i do want to lower our A/C bill and improve the house's energy efficiency (i am all about this stuff, studied environmental policy in college and now work in sustainable development), i am totally not sacrificing our amazing view and being able to look at it any time!Walmart has a cheap line of Eclipse panels that might be worth looking at if you haven't seen them. They're not very pretty (the plastic lining makes them hang like a shower curtain) but they paid for themselves for us. I stretched one tight and put it underneath our existing window treatments

totally, just got the electric bill in my email a bit ago and wanted to vent about it. seems like i should consider ourselves fortunate compared to some of these astronomical bills. energy efficiency, guys!!
I thought the accuracy levels where just an extra bonus for doing good on a certain hit. Because I've got the normal difficulty bonus then for the same hit a level 3 or 4 for .60 or .80
