I wonder if these Premium Quals affected the Captchas?
People who are still getting Captchas, did you fill in the prem qual surveys?

I did them, the first day. I don't mind saying I use an iPhone.
I did one of them and have not had any captcha's Bigbore did two of the premium quals and is getting captcha's.

I'm done with roommates. Too many motherfuckers out there that think spending money on booze is more important than rent.
I almost never see a roommate situation work out. Hell, I rarely see "we're romantically living together" work out lol! Just today I had to find a way to give one of our tenants a way to get his roommate out earlier than he is getting out so he has time to clean the place. Legally I cannot do that, but he can and I had to be creative and give him a solution that keeps me out of it.

dude, I'm in the EXACT SAME position... I can't stand that bullshit rule that your income has to be 2.5/3 times the rent. I have NO evictions, a credit score in the 650/700 range, and no criminal back ground... but that bullshit keeps me from getting a place I want.

I guess you just gotta haggle. fuck it. it works on mturk, so just meet with a realtor or apartment complex, show them that your earnings are consistant and just beg them to trust you idk
I offered a couple months rent in advance for the first year's lease.

Theres always the drop the money on the table right if front of you gag. I doubt that actually works though... maybe bank statements?

I know I just told them I've rented in the area before and I have a history of never missing a payment and I've gotten in. The roughest I had was when I was fresh out of college with no credit and my mom just had to vouch for me but I never missed anything so I was good after that.

That works if you have a private (non-licenced) landlord. Otherwise, because of fair housing, 99% of the time that doesn't work.

Not sure how it works in your area, but I have rented to people who don't make 2.5 x's the rent if they bring me in proof that they have either/or: a) been paying a similar rent consistently for at least a year, and/or b) don't really have any other bills besides food/utilities/insurance. We only want that high to ensure you can pay ALL your bills. If you're one of the lucky who don't have many or can budget well, hey, prove it and I'll give you a chance!
