The kicker? I don't much like talking to people.

I hate talking to people but I loved doing telemarketing because nearly every response had a script. The only time my script didn't work was when I somehow called this dude who was high as balls and kept asking me off the wall questions about the moon and my chakras (Which I answered with "That is a fantastic question, why don't I hook you up with one of our mortgage specialists and they can figure all that out for you."

OMG, I would do this, too. Or I'd wake up several times in the middle of the night saying the intro in my sleep, having dreamed that I heard the "ding" in my headset. Kind of like when I first started turking/using scripts, I'd dream about megamoney batches and alerts going off.

I guess turking isn't all THAT different, except now I don't have people inside my head for 10 hours a day, and I don't have to put on real pants.

Oh, I'm not supposed to have people in my head anymore?

LoL yeah ... i have a 300 patient caseload. But they didn't mind and I guess it's not so bad coming from their nurse

I'm probably the worst customer for CSR phone reps because my store service training kicks in, and I basically script reply back for greetings, goodbyes, and even some requests. It's really terrifying. My girlfriend has uh, kindly pointed out that I "customer service" every phonecall I ever make, even to friends.
