Haven't you ever watched House? It's never lupus.I really hope lupus is tax-deductible.
I have visited there and 6th street made me kinda want to move. And the fact that I have never seen such a mellow downtown on a Sunday.Well... are you? You can get drunk and fat anywhere if that's your goal. Sounds like you need to visit there.

malpractice insurance? do you have a law firm or medical practice? I don't think i've ever asked what you doHow much in total do you owe? We're sitting around 150k left and we pay around 50k a year in malpractice insurance ( which is also tax deductible)
Traffic in Austin is about what you'd expect with any relatively big city. Don't let that scare you. There's construction going on on Mopac, the central N-S freeway in Austin.. adding express lanes. Plenty of ways to avoid most of the heavy traffic. I live right off of Mopac and it's not as bad as people make it out to be.that depends on if you're going from 40k to 52k or if you're going from 250k to 262k.
Really has nothing to do with anything....but what freaked me out once was driving through the small town my dad grew up in...actually it was the 'big city' next to the town he grew up in, (and where he went to school, graduating class maybe 15 students) on a Sunday, and there was some sort of quilt festival thing going on, quilts just on display out along the street, with no one to be seen anywhere, b/c they were all in church.I have visited there and 6th street made me kinda want to move. I've been to Dallas a bunch and yes its all those things. Highways and malls all over and teenagers who think they are adults. The state fair was fun tho.I hope he's a good dude, and not anything like my paternal entity.
The good news is that I've never actually been to Austin. I've only ever been to the bare tip of Texas on a beer run from one of the beer barns, and then an impromptu trip to Dallas with a guy I was dating at the time. Given that neither of us knew the area and ended up in a skeevy section of it, I'm now convinced that Dallas is nothing but stripclubs, sex shop megastores, and highways designed by mad scientists. We did end up seeing a pretty kickass drag show that night though, so the trip was not a total bust. (I said it was skeevy..I didn't say it wasn't fun.)
