My little one has an extremely severe peanut butter and egg allergy. I found this before.

Lists more alternatives than flax. :)
Thanks for this! I guess if I can't eat them cos of the chocolate, I can use something else I'm allergic to for them, haha! I have a pretty severe banana allergy (minor apple allergy, too), so I've avoided baking with them. I can probably let the boy peel the bananas, though.

So sorry! I know how bad it is with feeding my daughter. We have to have 2 epi pens with us at all times. Her allergist said she could swell and suffocate even from peanut oil. We have hopes she'll outgrow the egg allergy.

Ooo they have both chocolate AND flax, but I found they came out perfectly without any adjustments/tasting needed (aside from adding a little ground coffee for flavor just because). And on the plus side, the ingredients list is pretty minimal;

edit:

I also recommend www.chocolatecoveredkatie.com (horrible name, lol - I promise it's not a porn site). She has TONS TONS TONS TONS of vegan desserts. That's almost all she does, so I'm sure there's at least a few there with no flax (and even some with no chocolate, despite the name).
I don't mind baking with chocolate cos I'm the only one that can't have it in the house (I make plenty of things I can't eat). I definitely need some ideas for baking without eggs, though. Thank you. <3

Lunch time - one of my favorite easy Chinese dishes - stir fried tomatoes and eggs. Could not be easier - stir fry a couple eggs, take em out of the pan, stir fry tomatoes with a pinch of salt and a pinch of sugar until they get a little tender and release some juices - add the eggs back in - donezo. Then I also made this weird fish skin 'bacon' from Hugh Fearnsley-Whittingstall's leftovers cookbook. Pretty tasty, actually.

Oatmeal breakfast cupcakes -- these were waaaay better than I was expecting based on the ingredients! Recipe Here. They are vegan, but they taste amazing :) I added shredded coconut, a few golden raisins, and cinnamon chips to mine. My 20 month old just ate two (which was my goal..). Yum!

Did you use the Stevia or did you do maple syrup?

The make-ahead part was a huge draw for me :) My son is always hungry right when he wakes up, so I'm excited to do way less work tomorrow morning.

That's always nice. I have a feeling that my husband will end up just snacking on them all day. :thumbup:

I had chicken to grill (the thighs were even better than these drumlettes) and decided to cook the corn on the grill too, which is :thumbup: The homemade potato salad was killer. The recipe here.

you won at dinner. I wish it was warm enough to grill here.

I had no idea this was a thing.
I think they have them around thanksgiving or christmas and I had some left over :) They're really tasty

I'm curious how that happened... did you maybe put it in cold water while the metal was still hot?

no, I just have a knack for breaking things...I was oiling it on the counter and it kinda slipped out of my hands and spun onto the hard floor. :shy:
