Can confirm. Had a house in oklahoma. Installed internet. Guy put it up with chicken wire... and wondered why it wasnt working. moved ot texas 3 months later. No, the first question you need to ask is how is the internet in the area.
If the land is cheap but the internet is slow.. it isn't worth it.
If cheap is what you're after Idaho is definitely the right placeHopefully rent/mortgage isn't too bad for you there. It's been increasing here by insane amounts. Looking to move to Idaho or just anywhere cheaper, don't really care where.
Rent is skyrocketing because of people from Cali (and others) moving here. Rent won't be cheap for you, for long. Not anymore. A regular 2 bedroom rents for about $2,000-$2,300 now.i'm in san diego and i can confirm that the cost of rent is fucking insane
my boyfriend and i are saving up to move to oregon, the strange land of cant put your own gas in your car

It's a freaking barn 24'X36', 2nd story is unfinished and we just have boxes thrown everywhere, but it does have a toilet and laundry/utlity sink in it (previous owner used it as a place to work on cars)Yeah, but.... 2 story garage. That's pretty dope.
in what part? my boyfriend used to live there and rent was fairly cheap cause he lived in the middle of nowhere. i wouldn't mind a small town after being in the city for over a decadeRent is skyrocketing because of people from Cali (and others) moving here. Portland. We're quickly being outpriced by Californians, since they tend to make more money per year. Other places aren't as bad, but it's changed a lot in the last five years.in what part? my boyfriend used to live there and rent was fairly cheap cause he lived in the middle of nowhere. i wouldn't mind a small town after being in the city for over a decade
my little bro pays $475 a month (not including utilities) for a 750 sqft 1 bedroom apt utilities are around $150-200 a month for himThat's the tradeoff though isn't it. If you wanna be where cool stuff is, you gotta pay for it. I'm SO ok with not living super close to a city. I'm so antisocial anyways, the boonies would probably suit me.
It is more if I would want to live in nevada.People on west coast should consider nevada. I almost did. No income tax.
Too hot! And I'd miss the scenery. Plus, Oregon has no sales tax. But we have insane property taxes.People on west coast should consider nevada. I almost did. No income tax.
We pay for 50 down and 5 up (and get pretty damn close to that) and it's like $40 a monthHow is the internet?
Gross But it could be worse I guess. We pay for 50 down and 5 up (and get pretty damn close to that) and it's like $40 a month
