Caught this just as my son was dragging me outside for a bike ride. Thought I was going to have to return a $12 hit but then saw it had a 2 hour timer. Yay for me! That was a sweet hit

i just finished it. took me about 15 minutes. nice!

Hello there friends - I just had a quick question I was hoping some could help me with here. Did any of you receive an email from Adsforce offering to bonus you for positive TO reviews? I don't need the email, just want to verify if a fair amount of people received these emails, before I start looking into their recent barrage of 5/5 TO reviews.

For clarity's sake, I believe these emails began getting sent out the 2nd of August.

I am not familiar with them, but I think @turker and @Kathryn have done their hits before, maybe they can weigh in. I'm not sure I like the manipulation of t.o. though!

But I also did want to warn the users here to beware their recent positive reviews. I would have to imagine they behave in other unethical ways if they are buying positive reviews too.

I have not received such an email, but I've received other emails from them and I've done a few hundred of their HITs as well as a survey about my experience doing their HITs.

I don't have anything negative to say about Adsforce. Their HITs are easy, quick, and approve right away.

I won't fault them too badly for asking for positive reviews on TO. In my opinion, they've certainly earned a positive review from me as I have had an overall positive experience with them. The tasks are clear and their interface is good.

Also, for those curious about the content of the email someone posted the entire content of the email from Adsforce asking for positive reviews on TO:

Your action to give us positive reviews will keep us using Mturk by maintaining numbers of workers engaged with us. Otherwise, we might be forced to seek alternative platforms and not positinng HITs here anymore.

In my opinion, what they are doing is no worse than a local business asking customers to give them a positive review on Yelp if they were happy with their experience. If you don't like the business then you simply wouldn't leave a good review on Yelp. If you don't like Adsforce, then give them a bad score on TO.

In my case, I'll eventually get around to giving them a mix of 5/5s and 4/5s.

I haven't received such an email, but I have done a few of their hits.
I can't say that I liked the hits, though.

but.. I'm something of a cherry picker, and I don't necessarily work for numbers
