I wish I could say that was surprising. I've worked in a variety of different settings...........the stories I could tell. People like to think there's good science behind psychiatry.I was told I couldn't breathe because I was having a panic attack and was a drug addict and this was in addition to me being bulemic. I've never done drugs and it runs in my family to be thin and had thrown up twice in like 15 years from the flu/food poisoning. went to a different dr. who immediately did an xray and found I couldn't breathe due to obviously broken ribs. a lot of medical people appear to get their "knowledge" from the latest in pop culture.
tldr I was given psychiatric medication for broken ribs.
There will be. But not today
(for real. we can't even prove the most basic 'garden variety' psychosis...........though we say we can - and it's all over the web as a 'brain disorder.')
