Yep, I used to supervise temp workers who graduated from ITT tech. They got paid worse than I'm currently making now. I was making okay-ish money at that job, but had to quit because I moved three hours away (long story)

I really doubt that factors in. Everyone has circumstances. It doesn't mean they are lazy. I am in community college paying out of state rates. Because of circumstances, I cannot get in-state rates. Which means I have to take half time to even pay off my classes with the aid I get. Does that make me lazy? lol

Somebody else said it and they are 100% correct unless you end up in a very large profitable company as a sysadmin or something crazy. All you need is a two year comp science degree and everything else is going to depend on certifications and testable/demonstrable knowledge.

Absolutely. Community colleges are high quality and affordable, and if you decide to pursue a BA/BS afterwards, it's an even better value.

I have a couple of friends in that field who have done quite well for themselves with no education. It's a field that doesn't really require the education aspect until you want to actually advance. Very talented people get trapped at a certain level because of that lack of education.

theres nothing they can teach you at harvard or yale about web developement that you can't learn online.

also make sure your credits will transfer if you decide to pursue anything further...my god I had so many poor kids come through that their credits didn't transfer from their small town school college and had to take so many b.s. classes over.
